After falling behind to TCU 14-3, turnovers, inconsistent play, and poor tackling haunted the Longhorns all game long. The Horned Frogs controlled the clock with a strong running game that kept the Longhorns defense missing tackles. Texas played musical chairs at quarterback that led to the offense never really doing to much on offense. A late touchdown run by Jeremy Hills then the Longhorns got the ball back with 1:44 left on the clock and no time outs another turnover plagued the rally and TCU closed the game out with a knee to ice the game.
The Longhorns will travel to Manhattan, KS next Saturday to take on the Big 12 first place team Kansas State.
