The regular season ended with another loss to the Kansas State Wildcats, the 5th in a row. While the Longhorns kept the game close early in the game once again mental errors, penalties, turnovers, inconsistent offensive play and poor tackling that has plagued the team all season long was once again the nail in the coffin that allowed KSU to run away in the end. The Wildcats win the Big 12 Championship and will represent the Big 12 in a BCS Bowl, more than likely being the Fiesta Bowl. The Longhorns wrapped up an 8-4 season and finished 3rd in the Big 12, they will now wait and see what bowl they will be going to.
